Interview...

Interviewing Others...

I had a great experience with this project. When I was interviewing others I found it was awkward to came up with questions to ask, but once we started talking it became much more easier to talk. when I was editing, muench talked about B roll, and it was really effective to cover up the cuts, so that the whole transition is smooth. I also had a lot of fun with the tools when I was editing. color correction was big help on brighten up the video and just makes the interviewee looks human.

Being Interviewee...

I was pretty nerves when I was being interviewed, I was wondering that did I look good, and how did I look on camera.  I didn't know what to say when I was on camera, I kinda just went with the flow~ after we are done shooting  was wondering that how Matt was editing my interview.

Behind the Camera...

it was really interesting being behind the camera, seeing the interview from a different perspective. I didn't think that I did a great good on placing the camera, it was too far from the interviewee. but I learned my lessons next time when I'm

Interviewing Others Again..

this time when I'm interviewing others I felt a lot more comfortable. it is easier to come up with the questions. over the past a few weeks, I have gotten more and more experienced with Final Cut Pro. When editing, I did a better and a faster job. the cuts are more smooth and the B roll worked better this time. But the background noise was fairly loud this time, to solve this problem, I used a little background music to cover it up! overall, I think I did better than the last time.

Being the Interviewee Again...

Being the interviewee this time, I cared less about how I looked this time. I focused more on the things I say. I paid attention to repeat the question when I answer it and looked up to my interviewer when answering the questions. overall, I think this time is better than last time!

Behind the Camera Again..

Form the lesson that I learned last time, we placed the camera and the light in the right place. we meet some challenges, In the beginning, we couldn't find a good place to film. It was too loud in the library, and it was a big shadow in the Galik room. but in the end, we filmed in the basement of the Smith building and it looked great.
